His licence was also suspended for three months on the impaired driving charge, which was laid after police noticed his erratic driving. Ivan Luther, Dashwood, pleaded guilty to driving with an alcohol content of over 80 mgs. and was fined $250 or 25 days. The charge was laid on June 9. A London man, Daniel B. Chapman, was given a con- ditional discharge with no conviction after pleading guilty to mischief, He threw a tire iron through the neon OPP sign at the Exeter detachment on June 27. He was placed on proba- tion for three months and ordered to make restitution for the $285 sign. The court learned that Chapman's car had been rammed from the rear by another vehicle and he had gone to the OPP office for assistance. However, he became so upset over the in- cident he tossed the tire iron through the sign. Canned food Mrs. William Dolmage took the top honours in this division followed by Mrs. Herb Bierling and Mrs. Edith Hohner. Specie Is It was a close race in this division with Mrs. Edith Bierling, Mrs. Edith Hohner and Mrs. Reveda Dignan near the top. Ladies' Wear Mrs. William Dolmage took this section with three firsts and a second. Children's Wear Mrs. Hilda Landsbergen was tops in this division followed by Mrs. Fredo Boa. Men's Wear Mrs. Diane Thiel took the overall honours for this section followed by Mrs. Greta Erb and Mrs. Fredo Boa. Linens Mrs. William Dolmage dominated this division followed by Mrs. Fredo Boa and Mrs. Elizabeth E. Riley. Quilts and Mats Mrs. Fredo Boa was the top finisher in this section followed by Mrs. Elizabeth Riley. Liquid embroidery Mrs. Elizabeth Riley dominated this division. Art work and crafts In this division Mrs. Herb Bierling, Kathy Love and Mrs. William Dolmage placed well. Senior Citizens special Participants in this division were E. E. Riley, Mrs. G. Gittus, Mrs. A. Hem, Miss Marie Gelinas, Mrs. A. Southcott, Mrs. V. L. Becker and Mrs. E. Bennewies. Junior Homemaking class Darla Gingerich dominated this division. Women's Institute Grand Bend women's institute first. Floral exhibits E. E. Riley and Mrs. V. L.
