J. M. Tieman, president, conducted the business Mrs. Louella Tieman, Mrs. Ken McCrae and Mrs. Ross Love are in charge of the float for Friedsburg days. Plans were made to attend the chicken barbecue at Huronview which several attended. The picnic for Zone Eight seniors will be held Wednesday August 23 at Seaforth Community Park. The seniors will be in charge of bingo at Friedsburg, Saturday evening, and the. draw for the quilt will also be made. Mrs. Ken McCrae con- vener of group I and her committee conducted bingo. Mrs. Charles McDowell and Mrs. John Taylor, Drayton, sisters of Mrs. E. R. Guenther are vacationing with Mr. & Mrs. E. R. Guenther. Doug and Nancy Nutt of London, new residents of Dashwood are proud to announce the opening in Dashwood of Doug's & Nancy's General store formerly Chandlers and would like to thank everyone for their kindness and best wishes. Word has been received that Rev. & Mrs. Merrill James of Windsor and for- merly of Dashwood have accepted a call to St. Paul's United Church, Tillsonburg effective August 1. The Wisconsin delegates are planning to arrive by bus on Saturday, July 1 at 5:15 p.m. at the Clinton arena, where they will meet their Huron hosts. The Wisconsin delegates are commencing the first part of a 4-H ex- change with the Huron group who will be visiting Lafayette County during the first part of August. During their stay in Huron County, the 4-H youth council have planned some activities for the Wisconsin delegates. On Sunday, July 2,, the Over 80 Club William Fairbairn, Hensall, will celebrate his 80th birthday, July 1. Zurich Summer Playground REGISTRATION will be accepted at the ZURICH COMMUNITY CENTRE on Wednesday, July 5th from 2.00 to 4:00 and 7.00 to 9:00 Children who attended kindergarten during the school year 1977-1978 to age 12 are eligible to at- tend. Starting at 2:00 p.m., the delegates and their hosts will participate in games and swimming, followed by a Pot Luck Supper and a camp -fire singsong. On Tuesday, July 4, the group will participate in a tour of ' Huron County. Delegates will tour Centralia College of Agricultural Technology in the morning with lunch at the campus. In the afternoon they will meet with Huron County Warden Gerry Ginn at the council chambers in Goderich and proceed on a tour of the Huron County Pioneer Museum. 4-H exchanges have created much interest and enthusiasm among the Huron 4-H club/ members and more 4-H exchanges to other states in the U.S.A. and other provinces within Canada are being planned for the 1979. Janet Shapton of R.R. 1, Exeter will be one of the Huron County hosts for the Wisconsin delegates. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hern, R.R. 1 Woodham, and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Gemmell, R.R. 2 Kip - pen, will be acting as chaperones.
