visited with their grand-
daughter and her husband,

Mount Carmel, on Sunday.

Dashwood Women's
Institute entertained the
residents of the Blue Water
Rest Home for the May
birthday party. Mrs. Emil
Becker, Mrs. Earl Keller
and Mrs. Stuart Wolfe were
in charge of the program.
Carol Rader played a piano
solo, Mr. and Mrs. Ross
Love entertained with violin
and piano, Mrs. Dave Rader
played the piano and sang,
Mrs. Mervyn Tiernan and
Mrs. Ross Love sang a duet
accompanied by Mrs. Ken
McCrae, Branda Rader
entertained with her
ukulele. Gifts were given to
the birthday recipents and
lunch served.
Personals
Mr, and Mrs. Irvin Rader
spent a week at Inverlocky
near Parry Sound and en-
joyed good fishing.
Mr. and Mrs. Eben
Weigand, , Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Martene, Mrs.
Carrie Russell, Mr. and

the weekend at Port
Colborne with Mr. and Mrs.
Alvin Bearss and celebrated
the Bearss' 35th wedding an-
niversary.
Calvary United Church
held their picnic with a noon
lunch following the morning
service June 4 and games
for the children followed.

from Zion Lutheran Church
attended the Lutheran Hour
Rally at the Hanover
Coliseum Sunday,June 4.
Mrs. Ernest Koehler has
been staying with Mr. and
Mrs. Ward Kraft, Exeter,
following her release from
Victoria Hospital where she
underwent surgery.
