Congratulations to Betty and Frank Burch on the arrival of their seventh grandchild. Lorraine and Donald Burch of Nova Scotia are the proud parents of Donald Andrew, a brother for Jason.(Grandparents doing well). On behalf of the Canadian Cancer Society, Frank Burch wishes to thank Harry Baker, Betty Burch, Ber- thena Hammond, Dorothy. Hovey, Wendy Penhale, Sonnee Stephens, Marilyn Warner, and Flo Yournatoff for so willingly and suc- cessfully acting as can- vassers for the Society in Bayfield. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Milne entertained the members of the choir of St. Andrew's United Church on Thursday evening May 4 at their home. About 40 guests enjoyed an evening of fellowship and song. Mrs. Erma Fraser presided over the tea table while delicious lunch was served. The choir president, John Siertsema thanked the Milne's for their generous hospitality and expressed the hope that this would become an annual event. Mr. and Mrs. J. Parsons (nee Nancy Heard) of Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Heard and family, London, Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Elliott and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Elliott and family, Mitchell visited Sunday with Mr., and Mrs. Bill Parker. Mrs. Lena Ervine spent several days this week with - her family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Meyer, Michelle and Marsha in Milverton. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Schneuker and Mr. Alvin Grube all of Milverton were guests Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Diemert and Wayne at the Albion Hotel. - Mr. and Mrs. Don Haw, Anne, Cathy and Bradley had as their Sunday guests, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Riddell and sister Audrey, Mrs. Lougheed and family and Mr. Doug Nichols, Dundalk, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Dailey, Joanne and Ray of Wiarton. Mrs. Mabel Duncan, Dundalk visited several days with her daughter Ruth, Mrs. Tom Lyon, Tom and family and also visited several days at the home of Mrs. Nina Haw. Mr.. Robert Barnes, London visited Sunday with his sister Kay McLeod, Donald .and John. Jim Murray of near Varna has found time between gardening and his toy trains to put on his (summer) storm windows. (We un- derstand he had some assistance from a couple who helped him with his garden weeding some time ago.) Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dunn, Bobby, Allison, Angela and Andrew spent Sunday in London with her Mother, Mrs. Leona McKellar. Mrs. Myrtle • Pease and Irvin, London, were at their Village residence for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Nediger spent the weekend in Toronto with their son Bill, Mrs. Nediger and family. Mrs. Berthena Hammond visited several days last week with her sister Audrey, Ed Florian and Dennis in Clinton. Pastor John Hill of Toronto was guest preacher in the. Bayfield Baptist Church for the Sunday Services.
