Mr. Erb showed slides of their recent trip to Afghanistan and also gave an interesting commentary of their experiences while there. Mr. & Mrs. Erb were guests of their daughter Carol while in Afghanistan. Carol is a secretary for the Noor Eye Institute in Kabul, Afghanistan. The ladies of Dashwood Lutheran Ladies Aid, Hensall United and Presbyterian Churches were special guests at the meeting. Mrs. Jack Turkheim thanked Mr. & Zurich slow -pitch Zurich and area residents will be able to avail themselves of watching the exciting game of slow -pitch with the formation of a six team league in the area. The league which was organized by Don Beauchamp, begins play on Tuesday and has Varna, Bendix, Dashwood, Fanshere's . Flyers, and Bayfield Knight -Hawks and the Zurich Blue -Jays. The season concludes on July 27 with all teams in- volved in the playoffs "A" group and "B" group cham- pionships will be decided with trophies to the winners. The first home game for the Blue Jays is Sunday evening May 28 at the ball park. uai Mrs. Erb and invited all the ladies, to the church basement where a social hour was held. On or before the last day of May of each calendar year the owner of every dog shall register such dog and pay the license fee for such dog as imposed by By -Law #007-76 of the Corporation of the Village of Hensall. By -Law #15-1958 prohibits the running at large of all dogs within the Village of Hensall. A DOG shall be deemed to be running at Targe when found in any place other than the premises of the OWNER of the dog and not under the CONTROL of any person.
