It was 10 years ago that Isidore Laporte purchased the Deichert Locker Service after five years of working in the store. The recently completed addition adds 1100 square feet of floor areaand allows for a better display of the meats. In addition, milk and frozen vegetables can now be purchased at Laporte's. Increased storage facilities will now allow 100 quarters of beef to be stored on the premises. Laporte said the main advantage of the new building is the increased storage capacity for his business.
