May Designate Church
Trinity Anglican Church
Board of Management met
Tuesday evening for its
regular meeting with
Reverend Bennett in the
chair.
It was learned that Reg
Wilson had agreed to act as
an auditor and a letter from
Bishop Ragg left the decision
of having Trinity Church
designated a Heritage
building in the hands of the
Board. They deferred their
decision until further in-
formation is obtained from
the chairman of the Local
Architectural Conservancy
Advisory Committee.
Alf Scotchmer instructed
the Warden Harry Baker as
to the proper operation of the
electric heaters in the Parish
Hall and also replaced a

door when the weather is
more favourable. The older

School will stay in Church
part of the time in order to
familiarize them with the
Book of Common Prayer and

projector which he will loan

record player for use with it.
It is planned to show film
strips during the summer to
teach the young people of the
Sunday School their religious
training and the Board
acknowledged the beautiful
gift of a fair linen cloth and
veil bursts.
The Rector read a little
humour into the meeting
when he said the first year a
Rector takes over a Parish
he is scrutinized; the second
year he is criticized and the
third year he is scandalized;
and that is why in some
churches a Rector is moved
every three years.
