At giving directions to tourists like us
Like "This place is great,;and that's a must."
In actual fact I'm missing the snow,
Though why in the world, I'll never know.
The cars down here are really strange
Especially the ones they ride on the range.
They're sorta like jeeps but called utilities
For climbing up hills, they have the ability.
They all drive on the left hand side,
Which makes it quite hard when offered a ride
Cause you go to get in the normal way,
Just to be told "You can't drive today."
And we find when going to turn on tea
The cold tap is where the hot should be.
And down here they don't play hockey at all.
Except on the lawn with a stick and a ball.
We met the New Zealand water ski champ,
On his way to teach at a camp.
The people down here are just the best,
They really know how to treat their guests.
Nothing is ever too big a task,
If you need anything, just ask.
