IRVIN RADER DASHWOOD The Agriculture and Canadian Industries group with Mrs, Stuart Wolfe convener was in charge of the March meeting of Dash- wood W.I. Crafts were on display and the roll call, "Name a craft you enjoy doing," was answered by 18 members, There were also seven visitors. President, Mrs. Ray Rader dealt with the business. Members were reminded about reports for the April annual meeting and gifts for secret pals. Short courses were discussed. Mrs. Gorden Bender had tickets for the 75th an- niversary at Pineridge Chalet. Mrs. Wolfe presided for the program. Mrs Hilda Rader discussed the motto, "Life's ladder is full of splinters which we do not feel until we start to slide." Mrs. Eben Weigand demonstrated making Christmas wreaths from evergreen cones. Mrs. Mervyn Tieman and Mrs. Ross Love sang appropriate duets with Mrs. Ken McCrae at the piano. Euchre was enjoyed with winners Nola Love and Earl Keller; low, Jean Schroeder and Gloria Beierling, Stoles for pastor The business meeting of Zion Lutheran Ladies' Aid was held in the basement following the mid -week Lenten service with the president, Mrs. Lorne Genttner presiding. The Altar Guild reported seven calls. The new Guild is Mrs. Oscar Miller and Mrs. Harry Hayter. Easter lilies will be purchased for Easter. New stoles are to be provided for the pastor. Happy Birthday was sung to Mrs. Freida Keller. A card of thanks and a donation was received. The meeting closed with the Lord's Prayer. Personals Congratulations to • Mrs. Adella (Bammie) Fisher of Dashwood now living at the Seaforth Manor, Seaforth, who will be 105 tomorrow. Aaron Restemayer is a patient in University hospital, London, where he underwent surgery. Dashwood Senior Citizens will meet this coming Monday, at 7:30 p.m. with Bayfield and Grand Bend seniors guests. Brenda Glanville, Crediton spent the weekend with Elise Vandeworp. Edwin Martene is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Mr. & Mrs. Lorne Gentt- ner, Mr. & Mrs. Don Gentt- ner, Mr. & Mrs. Ken Gentt- ner attended the funeral of Mrs. George Maier in Detroit Saturday.
