There is nothing treasured and nothing so rare, As the love that a husband and wife may share, Through joy, laughter, sorrow and tears They develop a closeness that grows through the years, This love that they shared doesn't need to be spoken, It's a wonderful bond that can never be broken, Isn't it strange that those we need and those we love the best Are just the ones God needs too And takes them home to rest. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife, Ethel. 9c Coming Events THE 67TH ANNUAL meeting of the Family and Children's Services of Huron County will be held in the Board Room, County Assessment Building, 46 Gloucester Terrace, Goderich, Ontario on Wednesday, March 15th, 1978 commencing at 2:00 p.m. Judge John M. Meditation There is a time we know not when, a place we know not where, That marks the destiny of men for glory or despair. There is a line by us unseen that crossed every path, That marks the boundary between God's patience and His wrath, Oh where is this mystery born by which our path Ts crossed, Beyond which God himself has sworn that he who goes is lost. How long may we go on in sin, how long will God forebear? Where does hope end and where begins the confines of despair? An answer from the skies is sent, Ye who from God depart, While it is called today repent and harden not your heart. Everyone Welcome Convenience and fresh flavor "When you buy 'frozen vegetables, you buy con- venience and fresh flavor," say food specialists at the Ontario Food Council, Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Consider convenience. Since frozen vegetables are already peeled, cut, washed, partially cooked, and sometimes even seasoned, it's a breeze to take them from the freezer and use them in an everyday or very special meal. All you have to do is follow the cooking in- structions on each package. Packaged frozen vegetables such as diced onions, diced green peppers, and sliced . mushrooms are ideal time savers to have on hand. Add them to stews, casseroles, or sauces when there isn't time to chop and slice. Consider flavor. The vegetable to be frozen is rushed to the factory im- mediately after harvesting and is washed, prepared, and processed within hours. since nurtient losses in vegetables may begin very shortly after the product is harvested and continue until the product is consumed, it is gratifying to know that vegetables which are frozen have their fresh flavor preserved very shortly after picking.
