Flyers lose
The Zurich Flyers couldn't
seem to get untracked Friday
evening as they went down to
defeat at the hands of the
Parkhill Merchants 7-3 in Zurich.
The visiting team put four
goals past goalie Percy Bedard
before the Flyers could find the
range.
At the 7:52 mark of the second
period Steve Bedour scored on a
pass from Pat Bedard.
Two minutes later it was Glen
Overholt who fired one behind the
Merchants goal -tender. Assisting
on the goal were Bedour and
Mike Clarke.
Ron Rader put the Flyers
within one goal as he scored on a
pass from Travis Posthill.
That was alltheFlyers could do
as Parkhill scored three more
goals to salt the game away.
The Flyers next game is tonight
in Goderich versus the Sailors.
