WORKSHOP RECEIVES GIFT - The ARC Industries in Dashwood has received a gift of $2000 to be
used for the purchase of new equipment, thanks to a young Forest area youth and the estate of an
elderly lady he became quite friendly with. Will Purdy, front, became quite well acquainted with
the late Mrs. Selena Upshall, formerly of Arkona, while she was a resident in North Lambton Rest.
Hoare, and after the lady passed away her will left the money in his care to be used for the work-
shop. Will is shown here presenting the cheque to ARC treasurer Mrs. Anne Klungel, while on the
left is Rev. A.C. Blackwell, chairman of the organization, and on the right is Robert Fry, director
of the workshop.

Listen, Listen all you here,
Santa's coming soon this year.
School is out and we are glad,
Though we have been fairly
bad. •
At the store Santa Greets me,
Gently props are on his knee,
Though you were not very
good,
Well, do you thing:I should?
(Susan Reichert)
Every day is hard to wait,
Please Santa Claus don't be
late,
Jen and 1 each want a doll,
'loping that Santa would call,
The tree is by the fireplace,
With pointsetta in the base,
Oh please Santa come again,
We'll be waiting in vain.
( by Angela Zehr)
13y my window on a chair,
I will sit and stare and stare,
Iloping that Santa conies
soon,
lle will bring me lots of toys,
'And lots more for girls and
boys,
I hope he won't be too long,
So I can hear his songs
(by Jullie Miller)
Oranges, apples, bright fresh
fruit,
Getting some shiny new boots,
Outside you see fresh, white
snow,
Kiss are near the misteltoe,
Santa's coining soon you see.
Says be good to you and are,
Santa's fat, plump and jolly,
Nice round wreath of holly.
Our wish is that this season
be filled with inner peace for you
and yours.

Many people bustling 'round
Male a lot of noise and sound.
Santa watches as we play,
Each and every single day,
Though I hope I won't be sick,
Will you bring something that
ticks?
Santa, Santa I love you,
Bring rue• presents when it's
due.
(by Julia Pergel)
Snow is failing from the sky,
People yelling and children
cry.
Hurry Sarna we want you,
Mary's waiting, so is Sue,
Christmas Day seems far away,
Children laugh and children
play,
Everyone is gay and bright,
Waiting for Christmas lights.
(by Darlene Steckle)
It is Christmas Eve tonight,
And candles are alight,
Pretty is the Christmas trek,
Susy, Don and Jill are glee,
Everybody is sleeping
Soon Santa willbe creeping
We hear Santa in the sky
Saying hello, not good-bye
We hear Santa on the 'roof
Down the chimney he goes,
poof!
Our stockings full, he fills,
There's a doll, it is Jills,
His job is done so good bye all,
Ho! 1Io! Ho! Santa will call,
Next Christmas he'll be back,
With nice toys in his pack.
(by Vicki Schroeder)
Sounds are coming loud and
clear,
Songs I sing with Christmas
cheer,
People dance and people eat,
Till Santa says take a seat.
Children jump around with
joy.
With their brand new lovely
toys.
As they wait for Christmas
Day,
People are bright and gay.

Christmas novelties, glass
ornaments and tinsel deco-
rations, from America and
abroad, will enjoy great
popularity during the 1974
Yuletide season.
People are celebrating
with more non -electrical
decorations, such as orna-
ments made from house-
hold items, glass decor
which reflects the usual
home lighting, and candles,
homemade or bought.
Santa's delivering our cheery wish to
all, plus many thanks for your kindness.
