TEA IS SERVED
The fourth meeting of the
Mannerly Maidens was held on
October 8 at the home of
Martha Neeb. The subject
matter was about Entertaining
at a Tea. Martha read about
an informal tea which is a sit
clown affair where small tables
are placed by each chair.
Linda read about a formal tea
which is a stand-up affair so
finger foods are best. •
Linda and Martha demonstrat•
ed closed, open, rolled, ribbon
and checkerboard sandwiches.
We all made sandwiches and
after sat down to a tea served
by Mary Anne and Elizabeth.
We talked about Achievement
Day and a Hallowe'en Party
we are planning for October 26.
