ANTIQUE CARS VISIT AREA - Between 15 and 20 antique cars travelled throughout this area
on Sunday in a group, and while they were on the Bluewater Highway the drivers stopped at the
Bayview Tourist Inn for dinner. Some of the cars are shown here lined up in the parking lot at the
popular eating spot.
BEAN HARVEST IN FULL SWING - Area fanners are busy these days harvesting their crops of
white beans, which are termed "not as good as some in the past." Lionel Wilder, R. R.1, Zurich,
is shown here combining the beans on the farm of Arnold Vandenboomen, R.R.2, Hensall.
Some of the farmers report their crops running anywhere from 10 to 25 bushels to the acre.
