Golden Glimpses'
• Although rain is very badly
needed in our area, I am sure
that the Bean Festival Commit-
tee were thankful that Saturday
turned out to be a beautiful
day for the occasion. Accord-
ing to some of the residents,
during the supper hour the
clown visited with them in the
dining -room and joked a bit
with them.
The president of the Auxil-
iary reported that they were
very pleased with the proceeds
from the sale of the quilt and
the Home Baked Sale. The
lucky winner of the quilt was
Mrs. Lyle Muir, Niagara on
the Lake. Allan Swartzentruber
of New 1lamburg won the mus-
ical jewel box and Mrs. Matt-
hew Denornme was the lucky
winner of the cake.
Henry Flaxbard is again a
patient in St. Joseph's Hospital
London, but we expect him to
return in the near future. We
are pleased to have Miss Mabel
Clarke, of Forest visiting with
us for two weeks while her
family are on vacatinn.

after a week's vacation at the
home of her daughter in Lond-
on. Miss Susie Snider is visit-

was played followed by refresh-
ments.
