An indication that we are
one week closer to fall is the
celebration of the Bean Festiv-
al this coming weekend. The
Ladies Auxiliary will be having
their booth as usual, but in a
different location. Look for
their banners. The draw for
their quilt will be made, and
tickets are still available at
the Home or will be at the Bear
Festival. The consolation prize
will be a music box. They are
also having a table of home-
made baking. All proceeds
will go towards projects for the
Home. Your patronage will be
appreciated.
An attractive barometer
which has been hung on the
lobby wall is of interest to our
residents as well as passers by.
It was donated in memory of
the late Mrs. Mary Cameron
by her family. We appreciate
their thoughtfulness.
