MRS. JOYCE PEPPER, CORRESPONDEN'i
The FIensall Branch of the
Women's Institute have been
busy these past summer months,
although there were no regular
meetings. At the moment the
branch is searching out new
leadership material for the loc-
al 4-H program which will
begin in September.
This unit is entitled "The
Club Girl Entertains, " and will
involve cooking and of course
eating all of the fun prepared
foods. We would enjoy hearing
from any woman who likes the
company of young people and
wants to share her knowledge
with these young women.
There will be a two day train-
ing school in Exeter on August
26 and 27 for the leaders . In
September, Hensall W,1, will
revive a tradition of the group
and conduct a bus tour. All
W.I. branches are encouraged
to visit the Erland Lee Home in
the Hamilton area and so they
will combine this visit with an
interesting tour of the city of
Hamilton. This will be discussed
at the next meeting on Septem-
ber 11 at 7 p.m.
