Ammend
HTA
Transportation and Commun-
ications Minister John R. Rhodes
has announced that owners of
small trucks are no longer req-
uired to have .their names
printed on the side of their
vehicles.
The amendment to the regul-
ations of Ontario made under
the Highway Traffic Act be-
came effective July 2. The
amendment exempts all com-
mercial motor vehicles having
a gross weight of not more than
18, 000 pounds, in addition to
motorized mobile homes and
trucks fitted with camper
units which were exempted und-
er a previous regulation.
The new regulation is the
result of increased popularity
in the use of small commercial
motor vehicles as a means of
private transportation.

The month of July is almost
at an end, and a great number •
of people will be vacationing
these coming weeks if they
have not already had the pleas-

Mr. and Mrs. Risi have ret-
urned from a week's vacation.
On Tuesday afternoon some
of the residents enjoyed a bus
tour around the countryside
and are interested in the prog-

The sympathy of residents
and staff is extended to the
families of the late Mrs. Mary
Taylor, Mrs. Winnie Miles
and Mr. Albert Bedour.
We wish to thank all who
have been bringing materials
of any kind for use in the hobby
shop. This helps to keep our
people both busy and happy.

number of our residents enjoyed
