SINGER, RONNIE PROPHET
Right from when he was a young farm boy from the Ottawa
Valley who had a talent for singing and guitar playing, Ronnie
Prophet has strived to be one of the world's best entertainers.
He has successfully combined both country and pop music fields,
not to mention comedy talent to the point where he often per-
forms along with Danny Thomas in the biggest night clubs in Las
Vegas. His variety, comedy and music series, The Ronnie Prophet
Show is popular on CBC television Friday nights at 9 p.m.

from a three week vacation
spent at Spokane, Washington,
where they enjoyed the World's
Fair and touring the Western
provinces from B.C, to Winni-
peg, Manitoba.

ed with Mrs. Cora Gaiser last
week.

attendd the 90th birthday rec-
eption for Hubert Hodgins at
Granton Anglican Church,
Sunday, July 21.
Mr. and Mrs. Clare Love and
fancily, Sarnia, were Sunday
evening guests with Mr. and
Mrs. Ross Love on their return
home from a holiday with Mr.
and Mrs. Don Love and family
at Manitowaning Bay, Manit-
oulin Island.
Miss Sharon Rader and Bill
Bennett, London, spent Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rader.
David, Susan and Peter
Stormes, St. Thomas, spent
some time with their grandpar-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn

Mr. and Mrs, Bob Stormes,
St. Thoinas attended a golf
tournament at Mansfield,
Ohio. Bob returned home with
a trophy.

and Stacey, Sarnia, spent Tues-
day with her parents Mr, and
Mrs. Mervyn Tiernan.

returned home from a vacation
