chell, of Crediton becatne the
bride of Brian Hodgins, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Max Hodgins of
Parkhill, on June 22, at Our
Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
White mums and pink carnat-
ions and roses decorated the
church while Father Mooney
officiated. Hiss Helen Nadiger
provided the music and the
soloist was Mrs. Linda O'Rourke,
of Dashwood.
Given in marriage by her
stepfather, Les Mitchell, the
bride wore an empire gown
with a pink sash. The dress
was of satin with a high neck-
line trimmed with pink roses
which also decorated the
sleeves. A cathedral veil
trimmed with French lace was
her headpiece. She carried pink
roses, white carnations and

Maid of honor was Mrs. Mary
Laporte, Zurich. Attendants
were Mrs. Marilyn Quesnel,
Huron Park and Miss Robin
O'Brien, of Dashwood.
The attendants wore empire
styled dresses of pink flowered
' design. They had white flop
hats trimmed with floral print
to match the dresses. They
carried nosegays similar to the
brides. Heather Hodgins, the
flower girl wore a white poly-
ester dress with a sash to match
the bridesmaids dresses. She
carried a basket of pink roses.
Isidore Laporte, of Zurich,
was best man. Ushers were Rick
Quesnel, brother of the bride
and Steven Hodgins, brother of
the groom. The ring bearer
was Mark Laporte, of Zurich.
The reception was held at
Dashwood Community Centre.
For travelling to Niagara Falls
and Northern parts of Ontario,
the bride wore a pink pant suit.
Watch for branch
When walking in the woods this
summer watch out for overhang-
ingbranches. A jutting twig could
cause•a painful eyc injury and
spoil your summer outing. And
don't let branches swing back
suddently • on your companion.

Park, Mrs. Morley Hodgins and
Heather at Corbett, Mary
Laporte and friends from Zurich.
The groom is employed at
Andex in Exeter and the bride is
a hairdresser in the Village
Beauty Shop in Zurit.
