Mr. Teahen said he was sat- isfied that it was not the local eporter who was at fault, but in the rewriting of the accounts by the daily papers. Mr. Tea - hen referred specifically to the last board meeting when a motion was passed to advertise for a supervisory officer and another motion for a special educational consultant. He poin• ted out the Free Press incorrect- ly reported: "A proposal to ap- point a supervisory officer has been approved" and the Beacon used correctly "to advertise for a supervisory officer and a special education consultant" in first paragraph and in the fifth paragraph incorrectly used "approved hiring" and both used incorrect headings. Howard Shantz, Stratford, said he agreed with Teahen's complaint, and added that his request that "my name be in recorded vote as not supporting a supervisory officer" was not followed as neither paper men- tioned the recorded votes.
