Barn
fire
Loss was estimated at about
$50, 000 in a fire which dest-
royed a barn and its contents on
the Tuckersmith Township farm
of David. Brock.
The 80 by 45 -foot barn on
Lot 1, Concession 15, contained
182 pigs as well as farm tools
and machines. The farm is
about four and one-half miles
east of Hensall.
Provincial police from God-
erich said it's believed a heat-
ing lamp, used to keep three-
week- old piglets warm, may
have caused the blaze.
