Golden Glimpses
The Sunday evening chapel
service was conducted by Rev.
Harold Snell, of Exeter. Peter
Snell played the guitar and was
accompanied in several duets
by his wife. Robert Cameron,
organist of James St. United
Church, Exeter, presided at
the organ during the service.
Bingo was played on Thurs-
day evening. The feature prize
was a large chocolate bunny
which was won by Mrs. Mary
Taylor.
The weatherman did not
favour us with the kind of
weather we always hope for
on Easter weekend, but I am
sure we are thankful here that
we escaped the damage of the
neighbourhood area.
By all reports we did not
have as many visitors as we
might expect for Easter over
the weekend, however, part
of this is probably due to the
fact that next Sunday we will
be having our semi-annual
family dinner for residents and
their immediate families.
Last Monday films were
again enjoyed followed by
coffee.
On Tuesday morning, Mr.
Lawrence Wein paid his month-
ly visit and the residents enjoy-
ed a sing -song in the dining -
room.
Residents out over the Easter
weekend were Mrs. Susie Snider
Mrs. Fern Bowman, Miss
Susanne Hartman, Mrs. Han-
nah Talbot, Mrs. Mary Taylor
and Mrs. Jennetta Finnigan.

We invite you to worship with us
The sympathy of residents
and staff is extended to the
family of the late Mrs. Mary
Cameron.
We have some men's rubbers
which have been left in the
lobby, so if any gentlemen
find some rainy day that their
toe rubbers are missing, we
have a pair and a spare here.
We also have a pair of ladies
black fabric shoes with medium
heel which have been here for
sometime.
We would like to welcome
our new Board Members which
were appointed at the annual
meeting. Charles Rau and
Menno Steckle wished to retire
after several years of faithful
service and were replaced by
Clement Regier representing
St. Peter's Catholic Church,
St. Joseph, and Elgin Hendrick,
member at large. Lloyd Walper,
Member at large, is replacing
the late Donald Hendrick.
