MRS, JOYCE PEPPER, CORRESPONDENT
Helen Scane chaired the Ap-
ril meeting of Unit I and began
with a poem from a church

the role the women played at
this time and just as they
dealt with their doubts and lack
of faith so should we in our
time. Helen closed the devotion
al with prayer and a hymn and
also read a poem "The Wise
Little Dog." Minutes were read

the roll call. Two visitors were

PROTEIN ECONOMY
Ground beef labelled "lean"
or "extra lean" may not be the
best buy nutritionally, reports
Consumers' Association of
Canada. The additional price
consumers pay is often so high
that regular ground beef act-
ually provides more lean,
therefore more protein, for
your money. CAC National
Office is located at 251 Laur-
ier Ave. West, Room 801,
Ottawa.
