Court action? " "The Ontario government will be taken to the courts if it fails to give municipalities sufficient say in running the electricity system." This was decided in a resol- ution last week at the annual convention of the Ontario Municipal Electric Association, which represents about 350 municipal electric utilities who distribute electric power. The association, which has a 70 per cent ownership --and $800million stake --in the electricity system, is objecting to the fact that the government has given it only two seats on the 12 -member board of the Ontario Hydro Corporation. Last week's resolution states that the Ontario government will be asked to issue common voting stock certificates in Hydro to each municipal elect- ric utility concerned. Alternatively, the govern- ment will be asked to pay cash in proportion to each mun- icipality's equity in the system If necessary, the delegates resolved, the matter will be taken to the courts. 41111 CLUB Area 4®H Club discuss manicure (by Helen Blackwell and Jane Willert) The Zurich I 4-H group, "The Reflections" met at the home of Karen McAllister on March 4, 1974 at 7:30 p.m,. for their second meeting.
