WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
The Family and Consumer
Affairs group was in charge
of the March meeting with Mrs.
Stuart Wolfe, a convenor.
Twelve members answered the
roll call, "What I do for relax-
ation." There were twenty-
three visitors. The topic was
Nutrition and exercise with
yoga and the yoga group did
several exercises with Mrs.
Frank McIsaac as commentator
explaining the value of each.
A table was laden with health-
ful foods,
Mrs. Gordon Bender, presid-
ent, dealt with the business.
A food forum will be held in
Clinton on April 10. A letter
was read from our sponsored
girl. An invitation was accept-
ed from Hurnndale to attend
a euchre at Usborne Central
Kippe
The Cultural Activities meet-
ing will be held at the home of
Mrs. Charles Eyre on March 20
at 8 p.m. Roll call will be to
name a food or utensil used
'75 years ago. Mrs. R. Bell is
in charge of a skit and Mrs.
Alex McGregor will have a
display of crafts, Mrs. William
Bell, a contest and Mrs.
Charles Eyre is in charge of
lunch.
Mrs. Orville Workman, who
underwent surgery in Stratford
Hdspital, returned home on
Saturday.
Mrs. William McGregor is a
patient in Seaforth Community
Hospital.
The "flu" bug has caught up
quite a few people in the com-
munity.
Mrs. Doris Williamson,
London, is a guest of Mrs.
Jean Ivison.
Mr. and Mrs. Ken McLellan
and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cooper
are holidaying in Hawaii.
Mrs. Ruth Dickert, Harriston,
is visiting her sister Mis. Nor-
man Dickert.
Mr, and Mrs. George L.
Smith, Walton and Miss Mae
Smith, Seaforth, visited with
relatives in the Kippers area.

Volunteers from Bayfield,
along with a new member,
Mrs. Lindsay Smith, attended
Monday's activities at Huron -
view, to assist with the prog-
ram. Marie Flynn, Frank Forr-
est, Terry Gibbs, Norman
Speir and Jerry Collins provided
the music. Charles Finlay, of
Wroxeter, was welcomed to the
Home.
Bill and Wenetta Holland, of
the Clinton area, entertained
the residents on "Family Night "
with a musical program of
Country and Western music,
with a musical program of
Country and Western music,
and old tyme favourites. The
Holland's play accordion and
electric guitar, and Bill taking
the vocal part of some of the
numbers. Mrs. Bessie Elliott
thanked the entertainers on
behalf of the residents.
The Home has been decorat-
ed for Saint Patrick's Day,
with everyone looking forward
to the Irish Program on "Fam-
ily Night, ", March 14, with
Clark Johson, of Belgrave,
among the list of talent.
School on March 20. The Red
Cross material was given out
for canvassing the community.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Weber
spent a few days at Little Cur-
rent, Manitoulin Island, with
Mr. and Mrs, Eric Eagleson
and Marshall. Mrs. Eagleson
and Marshall returned home
with them,. Thursday, March 7
Bill Weber and Ginger Love toot
them back to Manitoulin.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schroe-
der and Mr. and Mrs. George
Tiernan, trustees and wives
of Dashwood attended the Hydro
Convention at the Royal York
Hotel, Toronto, last week.
Those attended the funeral
of Tiffany Keller, small daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Kelle
from a distance and visited
with the Keller family at the
home of Mrs. Frieda Keller
were: Mrs. Anna Krowchuck,
Belmont; Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Edgell, Chatham; Mr. and
Mrs. John Edgell, Sr., and
daughter, Sally; Mr. and Mrs.
John Edgell, Jr., Tiffany's

and Mrs. Steven Czeck, Burn-
aby, B.C. and daughter, Mar-
cia (Mrs. Gary Hudson) Van-

Mrs. Margaret Pfaff, Zurich,
spent a few days with her sister,
Mrs. Frieda Keller.
Weekend visitors with Mr.
and Mrs. Alphonse Grenier were
Cathy Grenier and Terry Potter,
Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. Rich-
ard Rader and Tammy, Goder-
ich; Larry Luther, and Truman
Fisher, Zurich.
Mrs. Gerald Wilhelm is a
patient in St. Joseph's Hospital,
London.
Mrs. Amelia Willert and Mr.
and Mrs.. Cliff Penhald were
Sunday visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Smith, Gary and
Susanne, Corunna. The occas-
ion was also a belated surprise
birthday celebration for Mrs.
Willert.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Restem-
ayer were recipients of many
cards of congratulations on the
occasion of their 61st wedding
anniversary, Monday, March
11. They also had many callers
namely, Mrs. Lovina Miller,
Zurich; Mr. and Mrs. Orville
Johnston and Marion Newton,
London; Randy Becker; Mr,
and Mrs. Victor Kraft; Port
Franks; Melvin Restemayer,
Mr, and Mrs. Herbert Miller,
and Madeline Fleet.
