Mr. Clarence Hoffman, the popular member of the Galt hockey team, is at present visiting his home in Zurich, due to a sprained shoulder he rec- eived in a recent game. The rates of pay set for councillors attending County Council at Goderich were set at five dollars per day, and ten cents a mile one way for trav- elling. The warden will rec- eive one Hundred dollars, and the clerk treasurer $1650. J. Passmore has taken over the electrical supply business of C. Moore in Hensall, and is now in position to operate the same for the public conven- ience.
