Here we are again into a
new month. I wonder if the
weatherman will favour us with
the same nice balmy weather
as we were enjoying this time
last year, and in fact, have
been hoping for most of the
summer.
Last Monday evening we had
• films and those reserved for
next week, November 13 are
"Rapids of the Colorado, "Rose-
wood Day Dream" and "Santa's
Workshop."
On Tuesday evening, being
Hallowe'en, we had approxim-
ately 40 children call in their
various costumes, and Mrs.
Jennetta Finnigan added a bit
of life to the party when she
surprised a good many people
appearing disguised as the dev-
il. Treats were handed out to
the visitors.
On Wednesday evening, the
Auxiliary held their regular
monthly meeting. Miss Meda
Surerus showed slides and gave
a commentary on her recent
bus trip to California. Follow-
ing the program, lunch was
enjoyed.
Mr. Peter Neuschwanger is at
present a patient in St. Joseph's
Hospital, London. We are
pleased to welcome Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Talbot, formerly
of St. Marys to our Horne.
Congratulations are in order
for Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kyle
on the occasion of their 69th
wedding anniversary. Mrs. Kyle
and fancily members visited
here with Mr. Kyle to commor-
ate the occasion.
I would like to remind you
that on Saturday, November 18,
the Ladies Auxiliary will be
holding their 6th annual bazaar
and hake sale, I am sure any
contributions for either the bake
table or bazaar department will
be very much appreciated.
The Sunday evening chapel
service was conducted by Rev.
Wattam of the Church of God,
Grand Bend. A number of his
congregation and choir members
accompanied him and provided
special music during the service,
Our residents appreciated their
presence very much.
