A special thank you to Westlake Ambul- ance Service, Rev. Blackwell, Rev. Kuepfer and neighbours. 42-b We would like to express our thanks to the people of the Varna -Goshen congregations for -the wonderful evening they held for us and the lovely gifts for our home. Special thanks to those who put on the entertainment and the ladies for lunch. - Ruth and Murdoch Morrison. - 42-b I wish to thank my relatives and friends for their visits, cards and flowers and kind deeds while I was a patient in South Huron Hospital. - Mrs. Wes Merner - 42-b This past week news of trag- edy headlined the pages of our newspapers once again. Fires, people dying on our roads, and for those in the Middle East, war the cause of separation for friends and loved ones. This seems pretty well routine for most of us. News of someone else's misfortune escapes our minis rather easily, until it becomes a reality in our own lives. This past Wednesday, tragedy became very real to us as news of the sudden death of our only daughter reached us. Words cannot express how we felt. Instantly gone from us, one that we loved very dearly, gone were the dreams we held for her and gone was the smile that cheered each one young and old. This community lost a citizen, that was not only our daughter, but a friend to all that came in contact with her. We tend to be cheered as we realize the words of a friend (It was better to have loved for a while than not to have loved at all). Kathy and I were appalled at the overwhelming kindness shown by our community, We would like at this time to thank neighbours and friends for their many acts of kindness, all those who remembered us with pray- ers, flowers, cards and charities. Special thanks to Dr. Wallace, and Dr. Walker and nurses on 4th floor S.E. Wing, St. Joseph's Hospital and all those who visit- ed us and helped make Kathy's stay there a pleasant one. Special thanks also to Rev. Clayton Kuepfer, Rev. Andrew Blackwell, W.M.S.C, and Westlake Funeral Home. We are grateful to God for the time we were permitted to be togeth- er and look forward to rejoining Connie in that mansion in the sky. - Sincerely Paul and Kathy Steckle, - 42-b Suburbia --where the develop- er bulldozes out all the trees, then names the streets after them. IN MEMORIAM OESC11 β€”In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother, Fannie Oesch who passed away one year ago October 23, 1972. You bade no one a last fare- well or even say good-bye. You were gone before we real- ized and only God knows why, Time goes on with marry changes Joy and sorrows smiles and tears But your memory Mother is ever cherished With the passing of the years. -Always remembered and sadly missed by Violet, Laureen, Vera Carl and Bob and their families.
