Golden Glimpses

September is on the wane,
but even after our fairly heavy
frost in the low lying areas,
the rain seems to have revived
the plant life and everything is
lovely and green again.
The days are noticeably short-
er and beginning next week,
film night will begin again.
Films are enjoyed very much
by the residents and I know this
is one part of the fall season
that they welcome.
On Monday afternoon a
number of our residents went
by way of Seaforth to Stratford
where they toured the area of
the Shakespearean Gardens and
Festival Building. They stopped
at the picnic area along rhe
Avon River for a picnic lunch
and enjoyed feeding the swans
who ventured near enough to
share their cookies, and rimy
came back home by way of
Exeter.
