CITIZENS NEWS SOUVENIR EDITION
BE SURE TO VISIT GREEN ACRES
A highlight of last year's Bean
Festival in Zurich was something
new, a Green Acres Farm, pat-
terned after the television prog-
ram and complete with all the
characters in the show. This same
farm, with more added attract-
ions, will again be in operation
this year, with bus tours taking
visitors out to the location.
At the farm visitors are taken
on a tour on a tractox-drawn
wagon, and are able to see Lisa,
Oliver, Haney, Mr. Ziffle and
Arnold, Mr. Kimball and Sam
Drucker, in his store. On numer-
ous occasions they will be able
to see Oliver climb up the tele-
phone pole to make a call to the
city.
Last year officials estimated
that over 1, 000 persons visited
Green Acres farm, which is
owned by Kenneth Gascho. In
charge of the Green Acres proj-
ect are Neil Gingerich, Cleve
Gingerich, and members of the
Mennonite Youth Fellowship.
