Studies show that most belt in- juries are slight, and the risk to the fetus is less with a seat belt. Older drivers who compensate for their changing physical abilities are less likely to have auto' accidents than younger people. A chirp -chirp noise up front is probably a dry or worn fan belt. * Parking lights are never enough for driving. If you need lights at all, use the regular beams, say experts. * More than half of all auto ac- cidents are caused by "habitual offenders". Drunken drivers make up the largest single group. States are get- ting tougher on these drivers — sending them to jail, pulling licenses, to keep them off the roads. * Our expert mechanics check out every car we sell.
