This warm dry weather is
ideal for our residents to be
sitting out on the patio and
enjoying the fresh air or out
bus riding. Tuesday afternoon
some of them enjoyed a bus
ride to Goderich and area, and
did a bit of sight seeing out in
the rural areas.
Mr. and Mrs. Josef Risi and
children have returned from a
two week vacation.
Mrs. Ethel Munn spent a
pleasant week with her son at
the cottage at Bruce Beach.
Mrs. Susie Snider spent a few
days with friends at Dashwood
and several other residents went
out for short visits with famil-
ies and friends. Mrs. Mary 'Tay-
lor and Mrs, Dora Wilson are
still confined to South Huron
Hospital, Exeter.
We wish to thank Zion Luth-
eran Church, Dashwood for the
baskets of beautiful gladioli
which were brought from their
church following their centen-
nial celebration services on
Sunday.
We are indebted to Mrs.
Percy Weida, Kitchener, for
the interest she takes in our
hobby shop.+Judging by the int-
eresting and useful articles she
brings which takes up a good
many hours of our residents'
time, I wonder if she has a
little space reserved for us at
the bottom of her list when she
is out on shopping tours.
On Thursday afternoon,
another bus ride was organized
mainly for the people who rare-
ly get out to visit and who are
less capable of being on their
own than some of our people.
It is amazing to note the amount
of interest these people still
