Married at St.
SUNDERLAND - FARWELL
St. Boniface Church, Zurich,
was the setting when Mary Anne
Farwell and Gregory Sunder-
land exchanged wedding vows
June 8, 1973,
Father A. Durand officiated
for the ceremony and Mrs. Stepl
en Meidinger was the organist.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride looked lovely
in a floor -length gown of sheer
organza. The squared bib bod-
ice had an inset of pleated sheer
trimmed by a ruffle of sheer
organza. The collar too was
offset by a ruffle and the sleeves
puffed at the elbow and were
caught by a cuff at the wrist.
The slightly gathered semi
A-line skirt was enhanced by a
border of pleated sheer. A mat-
ching Juliet cap and cathedral
length train completed the ens-
emble.
The bridal bouquet was of
yellow roses with white daisies
and baby's breath.
Bernadette Farwell, sister of
the bride was the maid of honor.
She wore a floral polyester chif-
fon floor -length gown and carr-
ied a cascade of yellow daisies
and baby's breath.

she grows. I remember what it
was like to find out what fear
is... and to long for a mom and
dad to turn to. And I remember
learning I wasn't grownup...
and would never be so grownup
that I didn't need parents and
loved ones who really cared for
me when everyone else had
gone about his or her business
and forgotten I existed.
Yes, I'm sad when kids leave
home. I'm sad for the kids and
I'm sad for the parents who
have to live with the guilt
which usually creeps in,.. guilt
which reminds them over and
over that they've failed in some
way to do the job they set out
to do. •
I guess that's why ym happy
now, I'm happy because our
little family has survived the
grey days so far... and we're
knitted into a tight little loving
group which has learned to
work at this business of living
together when others are worlds
apart. It is a good feeling.
