Obituary JASON A, W. BROKENSHIRE Jason Allan Witney, the 25 - day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Brokenshire, Zurich, pass- ed away at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, on Saturday, June 23. Surviving besides his parents are one sister, Jodi, and grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. Logan Cleave, Bayfield, and Mr, and Mrs. Lorne Klapp, Zurich. The body rested at the West- lake funeral home, Zurich, where the service took place on Monday, June 25, at 2 p. m. Interment was in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Goshen Line, Rev. A. The Ontario Federation of Agriculture president Gordon Hill appeared before a commit- tee of the Legislature examin- ing Mr. White's bills to plan land use in the province. Mr. Hill asked the Government to provide for compensation to farmers whose lands drop in value because of land -use plan- ning. Treasurer John White said they aren't likely to get it. The Royal Party will be in attendance at the showing. The House having wound up it bitter session, with 180 bills being debated during the three month sitting, marks the end of Jack's Jottings until the legislat- ure resumes sittings October 2.
