ambulance for treatment of his

WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
• On Thursday the Women's
Institute ladies and guests enj-
oyed a smorgasbord dinner at
the Anglican Parish Hall. Mrs.
A. Hamilton, the president,
gave an interesting talk on the
Women's Institute's origins
and affiliations with women in
Ontario and Canada, and around
the world. Governments are

T.V. aerial from his parked
pickup truck. The stolen prop-
erty was valued at $69.

igating the theft of a 16 ft.

June 17 and June 24. Also taken
was a 40 H.P. outboard motor
as well as a trailer. The boat,
motor and trailer were stored in
a shed on the Bell Aerospace
property near Grand Bend. The
items are valued at $3, 200.

A triple wedding anniversary
celebration weekend was held
at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Demare, of London, joined by
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ginn, of
Cleveland and Mr. and Mrs.
Lloyd Ginn, of Grand Bend,
being daughter, son, and moth-
er and father respectively.
Mr. and Mrs, G. Todd, from
Stratford have retired to their
home in Beach 0' Pines, Grand
Bend, as permanent residents.
Sympathy is extended to the
surviving relatives, Mrs. Elgin
Webb, of Grand Bend, sister,
Robert MacPherson, of Buffalo
N.Y. brother; and Mrs. Nola
Taylor of Grand Bend, step
daughter, in the death of Mrs.
Isabel Wilson, aged 91, buried
Saturday in Parkhill.
Mrs. S. Mill of Petrolia visit-
ed her daughter Mrs. William
Stokes and her husband at their
home in Greenacres. For the
weekend Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Stokes were up from London for
a visit to their son, William
Stokes and his wife.
Mr. and Mrs. Morley Love
and Jennifer, of Chatham visit-
ed his parents on Sunday and
attended the Gill Reunion at
Ausable Park. Colin Love
went to St. Joseph's Hospital on
Monday for a check-up.

reunion held
Hay deputy -reeve
dies suddenly
at work
The deputy -reeve of Hay
Township since January of this
year, Harold M. Campbell,
R, R.1, Exeter, passed away
suddenly while working at home
on Monday, June 25, in his 48th
year. He was a son of Hensall
clerk and former Hay Township
reeve Earl and Mrs. Campbell,
of Hensall.
Mr. Campbell served on the
Hay Township council for a
number of years prior to being
elected deputy -reeve last Dec-
ember. He was an active memb-
er of the Exeter branch of the
Royal Canadian Legion.
Surviving besides his parents
is his wife, the former Mona
R. Fletcher; three daughters,
Mrs. Larry (Carolyn) Ducharme,
Hensall, Marie, London, Judy,
at home; four sons, Jim, Exeter,
Brian, Hensall, Randy and Fred,
at home. There are also two
sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Doreen)
Smith, Lucan, Mrs. Larry (Mary;

summer home of Mr. and Mrs.
J. C. Munn, Ipperwash. There
was a perfect attendance.

Daniel Munn.
A smorgasbord supper concl-
uded the afternoon, after which
Mrs. John Munn gave out gifts
to each of the thirty children
present. Gordon Clemas of
London spoke words of apprec-
iation. Mr. and Mrs, Carl Hep -
pler will be in charge of arrange•
ments for the next year's get-
together.

will be made to Carmel Presby-
terian Church, Hensall, where
service will take place at 2 p.m
Interment will be made in the
Exeter Cemetery.
