SCIENCE AWARDS - Two trophies for the top students in grade
seven and eight science have been presented to the Zurich
Public School for annual competition. To be known as the L, 5,
Weido Science Awards, the trophies this year were presented
to Catherine Weido, left, grade eight, and Mary Ellen Steckle,

13 Ontario scholars
A record 13 students at South
Huron District High School were
named Ontario scholars this
year, compared to only three
last year. This presents almost
25 "/o of the 53 students who
completed their five-year
courses.

ed a $2, 500 Huron College Corp-
oration Entrance Scholarship,
John has just graduated from
South Huron District 1:-Iigh School
and plans to attend Huron Coll-
ege, London, in the fall. He
will be entering the field of
