After an absence of almost
a year, the famous "Tasty -Nu"
bread will again be baked at
the local bakery in Zurich. On
Monday of this week the staff
at Tasty -Nu produced their first
batch of "local baked" bread,
and the reaction from rhe public
was terrific.
For the past while Tasty -Nu
had contracted with a London
bakery to produce bread with
their own label, but according
to officials the product was not
nearly as well received as their
former loaf which had been
baked in the local plant.
Several months ago the form-
er owner of Tasty -Nu Bakery,
Allan Gascho, sold the business
to Carl Oesch. Mr. Oesch said

at that time he hoped to resume
baking bread locally as soon as
possible. Monday morning saw
his wish come true,
The local bakery has the cap-
acity to produce several thous-
ands of loaves daily, and addit-
ional workmen as presently being
added to the staff to keep prod-
uction rolling.
As well as selling out of their
own store, Tasty -Nu distributes
bread to a large surrounding
rural area by delivery, and also
uses most area food markets for
a retail outlet. The firm also
produces a complete line of
pastry, and in the near future
Mr. Oesch hopes to expand on
this phase of the operation as
well.
