Golden Glimpses o ..
Possibly all of our squacking
about cold, wet weather has
paid off for now it seems that
we are having record high temp-
eratures for this time of the
year, and to top it all off, a
good many people are nursing
painful sunburns.
Entertainment and activities
last week were at a minimum,
however, since Tuesday was a
lovely warn day, some of the
residents took advantage of the
opportunity to have a bus ride.
They covered the area around
Grand Bend and Crediton which
was of special interest to some
of rhe Residents.
Thursday evening bingo was
enjoyed, followed by light
refreshments.
Plans are under way to cele-
brate Senior Citizens' Week
from June 17 to 23.
On Wednesday afternoon, the
Ladies of the Auxiliary will be
sponsoring the annual picnic for
the residents. The program will
commence at 2 p.m. and a pic-
nic supper will be served in the
dining room of the Home. We
are hoping for pleasant weather
and invite friends of the resid-
ents and Auxiliary members and
anyone interested in the work of
ance, Greg O'Brien, Jamie Lesp-
erance, Peter Miller, Rickey
Kuepfer, Derek McKinnon,
Jeff Laporte, Kevin Lavery,
Gordon Denomme, Daniel Crece
Michael Bedard, D'Arcy Martin.

Next Thursday evening, Mrs.
Orval Storey, of Seaforth and
her dancing students will be
presenting a musical program
to which you are also invited.
