Visitors are welcome to come out on Monday evenings and enjoy an hour of films and a social time following them. On Wednesday afternoon the members of the Ladies Auxiliary held their regular monthly meeting. Prior to the business part of the meeting a short program was enjoyed by the residents followed by lunch. The sympathy of residents and staff is extended to the family of the late Mrs. Jenny Moore who passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. On Sunday evening, April 29, we are planning a smorgas- bord dinner for the residnets and their immediate families. If there is anyone who has not already received tickets, they may do so by contacting the office before April 22. We welcome Mrs. Gertrude Harris, of Kirkton as a new resident to our home. On Friday evening bingo was enjoyed. The Sunday evening chapel service was conducted by Rev. Douglas Warren. Special music was provided by choir members and organist of Crediton United Church. About people Mr. and Mrs. Earl Yungblut were weekend visitors in Det- roit with Mr. and Mrs. Art Risk and family. John Corriveau, son of Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon Corriveau, is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. Garry Rogers and family of Windsor, were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gaseho. Miss Verda Baechler is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital London. Mrs. Jim Hogg flew from London to Winnipeg on Saturday where she spent a couple of days with her parents, and from Winnipeg to Texas where she will spend some time with her sister and family. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kretzman and boys, Margate, Florida, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ellman, Treasure Island. 4-H MEETING Club No I girls held their meeting at the home of Mrs. Gordon Bender. The exhibit is "Knacks with Necklines." Roll call was ideas for the fashion show followed by discussion. The garments should be on a hanger with plastic cover. Also name, age, and club must be on garment. The mother's buffet supper will be April 17. Kalbfleisch at the west end of Zurich. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Neeb and Mr. and Mrs. Elam Shantz at- tended the funeral of Mrs. Clarence Hammer at Philips- burg, on Sunday. Mrs. Hammer the former Margaret Ropp was in her 38th year. URSDAY, APRIL 12, 1973 CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Carl Thiel were delightfully surprised on Sunday afternoon when relatives gathered at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce McIntyre, in Stratford, to help celebrate their 31st wedding anniversary.
