Art purchased
for school use
The Huron County Board of
Education has purchased a
collection of art works from the
Ontario Arts Council, to display
at area secondary schools.
The collection, which consists
of 21 works of art, was put
together by the Council and is to
be displayed across the province,
starting October 12.
It is intended that it will be
located in the secondary schools
and neighbouring elementary
schools will be encouraged to
bring their art classes to visit the
display.
The Huron County display, will
not be able to open officially on
the intended date. It was to begin
in Central Huron Secondary
School. However, a university
night for grades 12 and 13, and a
fashion show sponsored by a
community organization are
already scheduled for that
school, that evening.
A later date will be announced
when the display will be available
to the public in this area

fish and fowl
(by Debbie O'Brien)
Our third meeting was held
at the home of Mrs. Bob Hend-
rick. We were taught the prices
of fish, flesh and fowl. Dianne
Clark discussed the different
ways you can buy fish. Four
girls demonstrated how to make
lasagna. When it was done,
everyone had a serving. It was
enjoyed by all sixteen of us.
When the cleaning up and
dishes were finished, the meet-
