Married in SL Boniface Church
WILLERT - BEDARD
Gregory George Willert and
Agnes Priscilla Bedard exchang-
ed marriage vows in St. Bonif-
ace Roman Catholic Church,
Zurich, on Saturday, August
19, at 2 p.m.
Rev. Father A. Robert, of
St. Joseph performed the double'
ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Percy Bedard Sr.,
and the groom's parents are
Mr. and Mrs. Leeland Willett,
all of Zurich.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride was lovely in
a floor -length princess styled
gown of chantilly lace. The
bodice was styled with a scoop-
ed sabrina neckline, sheer
bouffant lily -point sleeves and
a satin band at the empire
waistline. A butterfly bustle
train added the final touch of
elegance to the gown. She

Mrs. Madeline Cook, of the
Blue Water Highway was her
sister's matron of honour, and
Miss Elaine Murray, Seaforth
and Miss Judy Corriveau,
London, were bridesmaids.
They were gowned alike in
floor length gowns of flocked
red rose pattern on white nylon
sheer organza styled with an
empire waist and softly gathered
skirt, short puffed sleeves and
a high neckline. Red velvet
ribbon encircled the waist with
streamers cascading down the
back. They wore red velvet
ribbon in their hair and carried
bouquets of white carnations
tinted red.
Groomsman was Wayne Will-
ert, brother of the groom and
Ken Mittelholtz, Robert Forrest-
er, Richard Bedard and George
Suplat ushered guests.
Soloist, Mrs, Martha Cole,
of London was accompanied on
the organ by Mrs. Patsy Meid-
inger.
For receiving guests at a
reception held in the Zurich
Community Centre the bride's
mother chose a floor length
turquoise crimplene gown with
white accessories and a yellow
orchid corsage. The groom's
mother assisted wearing a blue
floral floor length gown, white
accessories and a white orchid
corsage.

LEONARD F, MCBRIDE
A native of the Zurich area,
Leonard F. McBride passed
away in Hotel Dieu Hospital,
Windsor, on Monday, Septemb-
er 18, in his 68th year. He was
a son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Robert McBride, and been a
resident of Windsor for some
time.
Surviving are four sons, Ken-
neth L. of Halifax; Glen R.,
Leonard M. and David E., all
of Windsor; three daughters,
Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Zavitz,
of Thedford; Mrs, Frank (Kath-
leen) Chick, Toronto; and Mrs.
Bruce (Betty Ann) Wales, of
Adelaide, Australia. There are
also five brothers, two sisters,
24 grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
The body , is resting at the
Walter D. Kelly funeral chapel,
1969 Wyandotte St., E. Windsor,
where the service will take
place at 11 a.m. on Thursday,
September 21, with Rev. S.R.
Henderson officiating. Inter-
ment will be made in Green -
lawn Memorial Cemetery.
