Power squadron
hold course
on safe boating
With Power Squadron memb-
ers in all parts of Huron County,
Goderich Power Squadron will
conduct its annual safe -boating
Training Program in Central
Huron Secondary School, Clin-
ton, with registration Wednes-
day, October 4, from '7.30 p.m
to 8.30 p.m.
Tuition will commence one
week later and continue weekly
through the fall and winter
months with examinations in
March, graduation in May.

ing Course, Squadron Comman-
der K.S. Wood, Clinton, urged
active and intending boaters and
sailors to learn navigation sea-
manship, and safety in the hand.

Married in Bayfield Church
PETAN - ZONDAG
Albin Petan, of Stratford,
and Elizabeth Zondag, of Bay-
field, exchanged marriage
vows in Goderich Calvary Baptise
Church, on July 8, at 3 p.m.
Reuben Brubacher, minister
in charge performed the double -
ring ceremony amidst white,
mauve and yellow mums. Shar-
on Brubacher provided the wed-
ding music.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. G. Zondag, of
Bayfield, and the groom's par-
ents are Mr. and Mrs. A. Petan,
of Yugoslavia.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a floor -
length gown of white crepe,
with lace bodice and sleeves,
and a lace train from the waist -
line. She wore a tiera of rhine-
stones with a fingertip veil, and
carried a mixed bouquet.
Miss B. Zondag, of Sask-
atchewan, sister of the bride,
was maid of honour and wore
a light green flowered nylon
over taffeta gown. She carried
a bouquet of daisies.
Mr. E. Manchester, of St.
Thomas, acted as groomsman

and Mr. C. Zondag ushered
the guests.
For a reception at the Little
Inn, Bayfield, the bride's
mother received guests in a
blue crimplene dress and wore
a pink corsage.
After a three week wedding
trip to British Columbia and
Alberta, the young couple will
reside in Stratford.
