Obituary
MRS. HARVEY COLEMAN
A highly respected resident of
Stanley Township, Mrs. Harvey
Coleman, R.R.1, Zurich,
passed away at South Huron Hosp.
ital, on Friday, August 18, in
her 69th year. The former Elin-
or McKinley, she was born in
Stanley Township on November
12, 1903, a daughter of the late
John McKinley and the former
Lydia Campbell. She was mar-
ried on June 24, 1926.
Mrs. Coleman was a devoted
member of the Varna United
Church.
Surviving besides her husband
is one daughter, Mrs. Orval
(Elinor Mae) Schilbe, of Thames•
ville; one brother, John Elgin
McKinley, R.R.1, Zurich, one
sister, Mrs. Mabel Lavis, of
Clinton; and four grandchildren,
Steven, Keith, Allan and Karen

The body rested at the West-
lake funeral home, Zurich,
where the service took place on
Sunday, August 20, at 2 p.m.,
conducted by Mr. Murdock
Morrison. Interment was in Bay-
field Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill Consitt,
Ralph Turner, Jack Coleman,
Ralph Stephenson, Elmer Hayter
and Mel Graham, Flowerbearers
were Keith Stephenson, Jack
Pepper, Wilmer Turner, Robert
N. McKinley and Ronald Scot-
chmer.
Obituary
NORMAN VINCENT
Norman Vincent, Grand Bend,
passed away at Strathroy Hospit-
al, August 14, 1972 in his 84th
year.
He was the husband of the
late Mable Duncan (1967). Surv-
iving are his family, Ira and
Helen, at home, Mrs. Harold
(Minerva) Prance, R.R.2, Grand
Bend, Mrs. Fred (Viola) Teetzel,
Northville, Mrs. George (Dor-
othy) Bullock, R. R. 3, Zurich,
and Mrs. Donald (Evelyn) Dum-
igan, Grand Bend.
Also surviving are two brothers
Albert, Parkhill and Ed, Win-
nipeg, 12 grandchildren and 14
great- grandchildren.
Funeral service took place
August 18, at the T. Barry Hoff-
man Funeral Home, Dashwood,
with interment in Grand Bend
Cemetery.

Dashwood News
Dashwood volunteer firemen
held a corn roast Saturday
night at the residence of the
fire chief Emil Becker, The
ladies were special guests. Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Mcisaac cond-
ucted several games. Mary
Rader won the door prize.
Irvin Rader was presented
a medal for thirty years serv-
ice as a volunteer fireman.
Incidents of interest were
recalled of these years. I-Iugh
Boyle who resigned after serv-
ing eleven years was presented
a gift.
Mr, and Mrs. Albert Miller
and Janet, Mrs. Susan Snider,
Mrs. Ed Nadiger and Helen,
Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Miller,
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Miller,
Mr. and Mrs, Melvin Stade,
and Arnold Geiger, Pigeon,
Michigan, attended the Rest-
emayer- Steele wedding in St.
Christopher's Chapel, Wolseley
'Barracks, London, Saturday,
August 19, and the reception
at Wolseley Barracks.
Arnold Geiger, Pigeon,
Mich„ is visiting with Mr.
and Mrs, Melvin Stade and
Sherrie.
Mr. and Mrs, Herbert Miller
and family spend Sunday at
London with Mr, and Mrs,
Victor Kraft.
