Westlake Furniture Main Street ZURICH Phone 236-4364 PAGE 11 Miss Dominion of Canada at Bean Festival in Zurich A special guest of this year's seventh annual Bean Festival in Zurich will by Bonny Brady, the present Miss Dominion of Canada. She will be assisting in the Bean Festival Queen Contest, as well as mingling with visitors to the festival, Bonny Brady has ash blonde hair, blue eyes and is from Perth, Ontario, known as Can- ada's most beautiful represent- ative. Since a distinguished panel of judges selected her Miss Dominbn of Canada, she has been busy travelling throughout Canada the United States and abroad. Miss Brady, a 19 -year old high school graduate won the title of Miss Dominion of Canada representing Eastern Ontario and within hours of her selection was besieged with telegrams and telephone calls from all parts of Canada, Miss Brady, prior to becoming Miss Domin- ion of Canada, held the titles of Miss Perth and Miss Eastern Ontario.. Miss Dominion of Canada annually represents Canada in the Miss Universe Pageant held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Miss World Pageant in London, England the Miss International Pageant in Tokyo, Japan and the Queen of the Pacific Pageant in Melbourne, Australia. . An irresistible smile, a perf- ectly proportioned figure, 5'3" and 110 lbs along with a lively personality won her the title of Miss Dominion of Canada before television and motion picture cameras and media from throughout Canada. Miss Brady has two brothers and four sisters and was born in Perth. Prior to being selected Miss Dominion of Canada, Miss Brady was a student and while not in school was employed part time in a nursing home and more recently as a tourist advisor for the Perth Chamber of Commerce She enjoys swimming and water skiing and one day wishes to be- come a nurse and work with handicapped children.
