Everyone Welcome immommmammemmemmeamas Golden Glimpses 0 0 0 Each golden friendship I have... is like a guiding star... that leads nie through the yesteryears... of places near and far... the large and little cities... the streets of long ago., where life was merely part of all... the winds that used to blow... each helping hand and loving smile... is like a song of old... imbued with all the melody, .. I wish that I could hold. .. and though the hours still to come... may be a mil- lion more...I dream about the happiness. .. that filled my heart before... I see the faces young and bright... that meant so much to me.. , and their endearing friendship is... my fondest memory. As I associate' with our res- idents day after day, I am sure the above thoughts are pretty much the thoughts of most of our residents here. They are always so happy to have old friends and relatives visit with them, that many of you would put forth much more effort to visit old friends if you were to realize how much it means to them. Although the past week of hot humid weather wasn't much of a time to be visiting, or doing anything else, for that matter, Mrs. Susie Snider, Mrs. Emma Kipfer and Mrs. Emma Shepherd seemed to enjoy their outings. On Tuesday evening we were pleased to be entertained by Mr. Bob and Danny Ileywood of the Exeter area. They prov- ided a very pleasing musical program of Ilawaiian guitar and accordian music. They also brought with them the Morrison sisters of the Kirkton area who thrilled the audience with their dance numbers. • The program was thoroughly Bayfield Lions (continued from page 5) on camera or put into words. Tickets were drawn on a Honda -Mini trail by Mr. Robert E. McKinley, M. P. (PC Huron) and was won by Dr. Paul Wald- en of Clinton and Bayfield. Two fifty dollar prizes were won by Mrs. Doris MacDougall and Mel Davidson both of Bayfield. Three gate prizes were won by Tom Woodhouse, Stratford, (Deepfryer); Alden Beck, of Picton, Nova Scotia (Hibatchi) Brian Koene, of Bayfield (an electric tea kettle) inomonwimm St. Peter's Lutheran Church REV.
