CHRISTMAS SUPPER
The United Church Women
of Calvary United Church held
their Christmas supper Tuesday
November 30, for their husbands
and guests.
Following the supper Jack
Riddell led a sing -song of
Christmas carols. Mrs. Syd
Neeb gave a reading, "The
Ten Commandments of Christ -
55th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Jones
celebrated their 55th wedding
anniversary on December 6,
at their home in Hensall. They
were honoured at a family
dinner at the Hotel Hensall on
Saturday evening, December 4,
with 14 attending. Relatives
and friends from Guelph, Barrie,
Exeter, Kippen and Hensall
called during the weekend to
offer congratulations and best
wishes.

man and Stuart Wolfe favoured
with several selections. Mrs.
Gordon Bender gave a reading,
"One Night in Bethlehem."

ists, Mrs. Gerald Mason and
Gerald Mason, lucky chair,
Mrs. Jack Riddell.
CORRECTION:
The canvassers for the Bible
Society in Dashwood should
have read Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Gaiser.
Donald Gaiser has returned
home from the hospital.
The trustees of Dashwood
and their wives attended the
annual Stephen Township din-
ner at Crediton last Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bambrick,
Kitchener, visited with Mr.
and Mrs, Leonard Schenk,
Monday,
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Becker
and daughter have moved to
Thunder Bay where he 'is taking
a Diesel course at the Man-
power Centre.
Mrs. Leonard Schenk and
Mrs. Howard Datars, leaders,
held a party Monday evening
for some 20 ladies who compl-
eted the course "The Knack
of Sewing with Knits." Plans
were also made to attend Sum-
mary Day at Clinton, December
13.

Mrs. Marie (Allemang) Rest-
emayer, 62, widow of the late
Edgar Restemayer and mother
of Edward, a student at the
University of Guelph passed
away at her late residence
Friday, December 3.
A member of Zion Lutheran
church, she was choir leader,
a member of the Lutheran
Women's Missionary League and
the Ladies Aid...,
Surviving also is one sister
(Gertrude) Mrs. Albert Miller,
Dashwood; one brother, Carl,
Niagara Falls.
The body rested at the T.

until Monday noon then at Zion
Lutheran church where the serv-
ice was conducted by Rev. Earl
Steinman with interment in
Zion Lutheran cemetery.
