Last week was a very quiet
one. Monday evening films
were shown. The first one was
"Niagara Falls, " which speaks
for itself and "Chairmaker and
the Boys, " an enjoyable little
story of grandfather and his
grandsons. Films to be shown
this corning week will the
"Farmer Fisherman" and "Land
of the Overlanders."
Bingo was enjoyed on Friday
evening followed by refresh-
ments.
We were happy to welcome
Miss Meda Surerus who arrived
down with her paints and
brushes to add a bit of cheer to
our windows.
The sympathy of the resid-
ents and staff goes out to the
family of the Late Mrs. Louise
Simpson who passed away in
South Huron Hospital, Exeter.
Mr. John Donald spent the
weekend with his daughter in
St. Marys. Mrs. Dora Waghorn
is presently spending a couple
of weeks with her daughter in
London. Mr. Harold Gower
and Miss Margaret Jermyn are
patients in South Huron Hospit-
al at present. We wish them
a speedy recovery.
The Sunday evening chapel
service was conducted by Rev.
Harold Dobson of Grand Bend
United Church. He was ac-
companied by the organist,
Miss Adella Gabel.
