St. Boniface WL
plan party
The November meeting of the
Catholic Women's League, of
St. Boniface Church, Zurich,
was held on November 9.
The president, Mrs. Louis
Farwell chaired the meeting
which was opened with prayers.
Twenty-five members were in
attendance and one visitor.
Roll call was on what each
member thought of pollution.
All members had the same
suggestions, that there could
be more containers around where
people could throw trash instead
of littering the streets.
Members responded well to the
used clothing drive which will
be sent to the Indians and people
in need.
A cash donation was made to
the organization, Birth -right,
which has an office in London;
"What is Birth -right?" Birth-
right is a free emergency preg-
nancy counselling service that
gives you immediate personal
and completely confidential help
with your pregnancy, a non- .
sectarian organization whose
aim is to uphold at all times the
right of every pregnant woman
to the help she may need to
carry her child to birth in dignity,
and to foster respect for human
life at all stages of development.
Final plans were made for the
parish party to be held Novemb-
er 19. All proceeds are to go to
Brother Bob Mittelholtz, to help
with his Mission works in Darj-
eeling, India.
Ladies were reminded of the
bazaar and bake sale at the
Blue Water Rest home and don-
ations would be welcome.
