GYMNASTIC DISPLAY - As part of their Hallowe'en program at St. Boniface School last Friday
afternoon, some of the senior girls presented a display of gymnastics under the supervision of their

Home course on
dairy health
A new home -study course in
dairy animal health is now
available from the University
of Guelph. It is designed spec-
ifically for dairy farmers, A. I.
technicians, or others employed
in allied industries.
Three veterinarians from the
Ontario Veterinary College
have developed a course that
allows the farmer to practice
a better preventive medicine
program for his herd, In co-
operation with his veterinarian.
The symptoms and causes of
diseases affecting dairy animals
from birth to death are outlined
in detail. Management and
medicinal correctional prodecl-
ures are included, but the
emphasis is placed on practicing
preventive medicine.
The course will include eight
assignments, which will be
corrected and returned with
comments to the students. It
costs $30, including texts.

Special service
In Hensall United Church
Sunday morning a special joint
service was conducted by Mrs.
Earl Rowe, president of Hensall
United Church Women, assisted
by Mrs. Russell Brock, president
of the Chiselhurst United
Church Women.
Special music was provided
by a ladies' sextette comprised
of Mrs. Pearl Passmore, Mrs.
Joyce Pepper, Mrs. Belva Fuss,
Miss Mary Goodwin and Mrs.
Kay Mock, and also a duet
by Mrs. Pearl Passmore and
Miss Mary Goodwin.
Special thanks was offered to
the guest minister, Rev. Susan
Seymour, B,A., B.D„ who
at present is minister of the
Granton pastoral charge in
Middlesex Presbytery. Rev,
Beck and family went to Grant-
on and Rev. Beck preached at
Rev. Seymour's church.
Everyone had the opportunity
to meet Rev. Seymour and
enjoyed refreshments and fellow.
